This is such an easy way to make an impressive dinner party food. Am I using the word easy too often? Well, I rarely cook complicated dishes, so this is probably why. Maybe I should rename my site to Maya Cooks easy?
Anyway, I am not a great fan of skewers, but lemongrass makes it so much different!
Teriyaki salmon on lemongrass skewers
around 500 g salmon filet, skinless
4 sticks lemongrass
4 spoons teriyaki sauce
2 cloves garlic, pressed
oil for frying
Cut the salmon into large cubes.
Rinse the lemongrass, if the sticks are thick, remove a few leaves.
Place the salmon on the lemongrass sticks.
Cover with teriyaki sauce and pressed garlic.
Leave for 15-20 minutes (preferably).
Fry on hot, oiled pan for 2-3 minutes from each side, don't overcook!
